Sunaina Samriddhi Foundation has pioneered the delivery of sustainable energy to the poor in India in a manner that creates assets and results in long term poverty alleviation. These sustainable energy driven solutions increase incomes, improves quality of life, and alleviates poverty.

Electricity – just a flick of a switch away for most of us, but still a distant reality for many. Without electricity, the women in the villages have no option but to complete their chores before dusk, and children find it challenging to study in the dark. Women use kerosene lamps, which damage their lungs and harm the environment.

We aim to light up these non-electrified villages in rural and tribal India with solar power India. In order to achieve our goal, we are providing families with solar lanterns that can work seamlessly for 18 hours. We also spread awareness and educate people on the benefits and uses of solar energy.

Our Solar Water Filtration Program is designed to change that by harnessing the power of the sun to provide reliable, cost-effective, and sustainable water filtration solutions.

Solar Lights:

Transforming Lives with Solar Home Lighting

Around 800 million people worldwide live without access to electricity, and another 1.2 billion lack reliable power. Historically, fossil fuels have met energy needs, driving the climate crisis. We must act fast to change this.

Sustainable energy sources like solar power are now both available and affordable. One of the most effective ways to combat climate change is by providing sustainable energy to communities currently living without reliable electricity.

Solar Village Project’s solar lighting distribution program is dedicated to increasing access to reliable lighting, improving quality of life, and reducing dependency on non-renewable energy sources. We’ve distributed over 6,000 solar lights, including home lights and solar street lights, to enhance safety and extend productive hours in rural areas.

Sustainable Street Lighting for Safer Communities:

Our solar street light program plays a crucial role in making public spaces safer and more accessible, especially in communities where grid power is unreliable or non-existent. These lights are easy to install and maintain, providing a long-lasting, cost-effective solution tailored to community needs.
